Finding a Technique
To learn how to paint takes many hours of practice. Finding and developing a technique takes practice as well. What is very important in that process is to open your mind and let intuition take over, be curious, don’t be afraid to try different tools, surfaces, colors, medium. A lot of possibilities will be discovered and technique will come.
I meditate, exercise and pray. I do whatever I need to let go of my concerns and fear and have my creative juice flowing.
See my new discovery. This technique is called “Negative Shape Painting”. So much fun!
First, I started with a big mess of colors. I used acrylic paint for that stage.
Then, I painted in oil the background and carved a vase with flowers.
